Well, my stator went out on the Harley while passing through Montrose on 9-9. Fortunately, Black Canyon Harley Davidson was close by. Thank you to Ryan and the other good folks there for getting me back on the road on 9-11. The rest of the trip was catch up riding in the rain. Unfortuately, I missed dining at Merlino's in Canon City. I called my dad from Salina, KS on 9-12, to tell him I would be there in 2 hours, and he told me "don't come, we are in a tornado warning". I heeded this fatherly advice, and stayed in Salina that night. I rolled into KC on Saturday morning, 9-13, wet but safe. Abbi joined me to go to the disastrous Chiefs game on Sunday. Enough said. The slide show is from Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park in Colorado. Thanks for following me along. Jack
